I uninstalled the update, rebooted my computer, and the printing was working again.Įric -> RE: Heads up to Dymo users on Windows 10 ( 3:36:17 PM) The next morning, I logged into Cellar Tracker forums that this was the top post. Thanks so much for that tip! Of course, I had a friend over last night and I was showing off my label printing system and of course didn't work!
KeithParker -> RE: Heads up to Dymo users on Windows 10 ( 1:50:43 PM) We haven't tested this yet, but here's the link: Uninstalling the current Dymo and then installing the older version took about two minutes.Įric -> RE: Heads up to Dymo users on Windows 10 ( 7:12:21 PM)īut the Dymo API in 8.5.4 does not work with modern browsers, and that breaks printing from CellarTracker or any other app depending on the Dymo API.ĭpolivy -> RE: Heads up to Dymo users on Windows 10 ( 5:12:50 PM)įYI, DYMO has released v8.7.4 of DYMO Label Software for Windows that should correct this issue without having to uninstall the Windows patch. Downgrading is a less time consuming and lower risk that an removing the CU if your only printing issue is the Dymo.Īs an example, removing the CU on a fast server hosting their USB-attached Dymo took over an hour. The rereleased March CU dated 03/15 did not fix the issue with the Dymo but downgrading the Dymo client software did for a client that uses it heavily in their business. Per Dymo, you can also downgrade their software to an earlier version that is linked on their support site. Garetjax_kison -> RE: Heads up to Dymo users on Windows 10 ( 6:45:38 PM) I've just restored my PC to an earlier setting and, as you mentioned, the Dymo now works. I sent Dymo Europe a message asking what the problem might be as I was experiencing blank labels. Unfortunately, I could not open the link to the download.
They have a note saying that there are printing problems, (unspecified) following the latest Microsoft update and they recommend everyone uninstall their Dymo software and reinstall an earlier version. I hit the problem last night and went on the Dymo Europe website.

We are reaching out to Dymo and will advise as we know more. They just come out completely blank.Īnd I can confirm that uninstalling KB5000802 restored normal printing functionality.
